First part in a pair of videos about testing polyurethane resins for maze building. SLS printing of mazes is expensive and casting mazes from polyurethane seems like a good experiment. In this video, we indulge in the wonderful sound of cured polyurethane being hand-ejected from a fresh Delrin mold. The results are beautiful mazes with good dimensions, excellent rigidity and smoothness and... colors!
This is the second video in the urethane experiment series. It focuses upon the pouring of the resin into the molds, mold preparation, and resin mixing. Turns out that this material is relatively easy to use but you have to be quick! The pot life is less than 3 minutes so you get about 1 whole minute of stirring, then you gotta pour!
