"Collabyrinth is a truly multidisciplinary experience for students. As a teacher who has worked in different independent and public schools, including Montessori, I am always on the look out for collaborative, project based opportunities for my students. Working on Collabyrinth allows learners to foster communication skills as well as creative and critical thinking. Considering the ADST, Math, Science, English Language Arts and Computer Design that we utilized when playing, building and testing our mazes this is, in my opinion, an ideal interdisciplinary learning tool. My students cannot wait to tackle Collabyrinth again this year! "

"The game is also fab for growth mindset. -even though it's frustrating to fail it becomes addictive to try again."
"I have enjoyed building partnerships with different people and enjoyed observing the connection getting stronger as the experience progressed. "
"At first I wasn't excited about this exercise as I'm not an engineer or gamer. But then I got into it...I often rush through things, especially games and puzzles, so this was a good way to re-learn my strategies."
"...a wide range of emotions were triggered from joy, fun, celebration, frustration and
the opportunity to give and recieve feedback is present..."
"... an addictive challenge - I reached saturation point but did not want to take a break..."
"I'm so excited to introduce this game / SEL module to my school colleagues..."
"I really appreciated how the communication [guide materials] really laid out different hints and strategies based on what space you reached. My partner and I found that by trusting those directives and openly communicating with one another, our average went up each time. "
"...courage and trust seem to be at the backbone of this exercise…both trust in yourself and in your partner, and the courage to take a new idea and see it through, not worrying about if it would fail or not."
"...so much potential for this from design and tech objectives, math curriculum, student leadership, problem solving, collaboration, core competencies etc."
